To The Readers...

This Blog is Dedicated to the 'Poetic side of Me' - No, i dont write much, but i'll be posting the Poems which i love and which inspire and touch me the most.

My life is filled with many sides of me, and one side is that of a loner, which i treasure and love as, i do not have to worry around there about anything else 'As, they know me here.' My world, My Life, My thoughts and on they go...!!!

On an other note...My favorite Poet remains
'Shelley' and his Life story leaves me with awe, inspirations, love and touch me in a way, i just cant describe in mere sentences.

When I Look Back Now.....

Why did you have to go then..??/
when I am here,
when you promised you wont ever leave me
When the feeling still burn inside me, the same way
the day when you came sauntering into my life.

I can still feel, the way you made me feel
The way you always had a way to make me smile
The way you looked at me, and made my heart go racing
The warmth of your smile, the content of your embrace

I can still feel your breath on my forehead
I can still listen to the gentle racing of your heart in my ear
I still have the feel of your touch on my lips
The belief that you are always going to be there

I loved it, when you looked into my eyes
The sparkle in your eyes, that told shouted out your love
Your silent ways of showing love....

....And then.. You were gone....

I can still feel the heart ache, to see you go
To leave me back here clawing on thin air
trying hard to grasp hold of your memories with me
The memories we had together.

"Wishing For 'Love'...!!"

I wish, I still had you
Had you, In my arms
In my arms, and never let you go
Let you go, to come back
To come back, and make my life worthwhile
Make my life worthwhile, and live my dreams
Live my dreams, and make my belief stronger in "Love"
In "Love" I am, wish you were "too"

"Fallen Angel": A Disgrace..!

I need my will (Life) I need it now

I wish to seek I wish to explore

They say I am a rebel I call them vicious.

Call me a fallen Angel, Banish me then

Set me free to seek that Love.

Exiled from my First Estate

I’d rather fall, than be away from thee.

When I’d been granted free will oh Thy Lord!

I ask you, Why Love for me is a sin?

Your son taught Love to your children of clay;

Why not we, the children of flame follow suit?

Enslave me then, if you find me sinful

Beneath the Darkness, to the Judgment Day!

And, when the Eternity comes

I will be there to question your might – to be granted Love.

To be united to Thee, would be my salvation

And if, entwined our fates may not be

Our death would set us free.

Well.. Friends this is my first attempt at poetry after six years, and I am quite apprehensive about the reviews.

Background: Was just chatting with a friend and instantly an idea was born, it all started with this image, I changed my Display pic to this of a sad fairy or as he said Fallen Angel.

TO SOLITUDE

O SOLITUDE! If I must with thee dwell,

Let it not be among the jumbled heap

Of murky buildings; - climb with me the steep,

Nature's Observatory - whence the dell,

Its flowery slopes - its rivers crystal swell,

May seem a span: let me thy vigils keep

'Mongst boughs pavilioned; where the Deer's swift leap

Startles the wild Bee from the Fox-glove bell.

Ah! fain would I frequent such scenes with thee;

But the sweet converse of an innocent mind,

Whose words are images of thoughts refin'd,

Is my soul's pleasure; and it sure must be

Almost the highest bliss of human kind,

When to thy haunts two kindred spirits flee.

When We Two Parted...

When we two parted
In silence and tears,
Half broken-hearted
To sever for years,
Pale grew thy cheek and cold,
Colder thy kiss;
Truly that hour foretold
Sorrow to this.

The dew of the morning
Sunk chill on my brow—
It felt like the warning
Of what I feel now.
Thy vows are all broken,
And light is thy fame;
I hear thy name spoken,
And share in its shame.

They name thee before me,
A knell to mine ear;
A shudder comes o'er me—
Why wert thou so dear?
They know not I knew thee,
Who knew thee too well—
Long, long shall I rue thee,
To deeply to tell.

In secret we met—
In silence I grieve,
That thy heart could forget,
Thy spirit deceive.
If I should meet thee
After long years,
How should I greet thee?—
With silence and tears.

Tears, Idle Tears...

Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean,
Tears from the depth of some divine despair
Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes,
In looking on the happy Autumn-fields,
And thinking of the days that are no more.

Fresh as the first beam glittering on a sail,
That brings our friends up from the underworld,
Sad as the last which reddens over one
That sinks with all we love below the verge;
So sad, so fresh, the days that are no more.

Ah, sad and strange as in dark summer dawns
The earliest pipe of half-awakened birds
To dying ears, when unto dying eyes
The casement slowly grows a glimmering square;
So sad, so strange, the days that are no more.

Dear as remembered kisses after death,
And sweet as those by hopeless fancy feigned
On lips that are for others; deep as love,
Deep as first love, and wild with all regret;
O Death in Life, the days that are no more!

A Life Poem

Life can seem ungrateful and not always kind.
Life can pull at your heartstrings and play with your mind...
Life can be blissful and happy and free...
Life can put beauty in the things that you see...
Life can place challenges right at your feet...
Life can make good of the hardships we meet...
Life can overwhelm you and make your head spin...
Life can reward those determined to win...
Life can be hurtful and not always fair...
Life can surround you with people who care...
Life clearly does offer its Up and its Downs...
Life's days can bring you both smiles and frowns...
Life teaches us to take the good with the bad...
Life is a mixture of happy and sad...

So...

Take the Life that you have and give it your best...
Think positive, be happy let God do the rest...
Take the challenges that life has laid at your feet...
Take pride and be thankful for each one you meet...
To yourself give forgiveness if you stumble and fall...
Take each day that is dealt you and give it your all...
Take the love that you're given and return it with care...
Have faith that when needed it will always be there...
Take time to find the beauty in the things that you see...
Take life's simple pleasures let them set your heart free...
The idea here is simply to even the score...
As you are met and faced with Life's Tug of War

Well i got this poem from The Story Bin

Not Understood...!!!

Not understood, we move along asunder;
Our paths grow wider as the seasons creep
Along the years; we marvel and we wonder
Why life is life, and then we fall asleep
Not understood.

Not understood, we gather false impressions
And hug them closer as the years go by;
Till virtues often seem to us transgressions;
And thus men rise and fall, and live and die
Not understood.

Not understood! Poor souls with stunted vision
Oft measure giants with their narrow gauge;
The poisoned shafts of falsehood and derision
Are oft impelled 'gainst those who mould the age,
Not understood.

Not understood! The secret springs of action
Which lie beneath the surface and the show,
Are disregarded; with self-satisfaction
We judge our neighbours, and they often go
Not understood.

Not understood! How trifles often change us!
The thoughtless sentence and the fancied slight
Destroy long years of friendship, and estrange us,
And on our souls there falls a freezing blight;
Not understood.

Not understood! How many breasts are aching
For lack of sympathy! Ah! day by day
How many cheerless, lonely hearts are breaking!
How many noble spirits pass away,
Not understood.

O God! that men would see a little clearer,
Or judge less harshly where they cannot see!
O God! that men would draw a little nearer
To one another, -- they'd be nearer Thee,
And understood
